About Items Received:

    Any Items received for review by me, or any other staff member, of Extension Technologies, becomes our Property. Special circumstances can be arranged, but any deviation to this policy must be agreed to beforehand. We promise to do an honest review of your product. When a review is completed, you will be sent a link to the review prior to it going live online. Not that we need your OK to try and bring honest reviews to the Internet, it is more for: If something is wrong with the product, or you think our opinion is way off, you will be given a chance to explain, give guidance, or remedy the situation. We will NOT take bribes, or be convinced in anyway to NOT disclose anything that you may not agree with. It's called honest reviews! While we may change wording to agree with anything that we feel is off, or needs to be addressed. Don't think you can change your screw up and have a 100% rating. Yes, with only a few reviews, and some near perfect products, I challenge you to give us a 100% product! That's your incentive!

Timeframe:

    The timeframe of a review from the arrival here at our office is generally within 14 days. This figure is just a general "educated guess." Review timeframes will be affected by the number of reviews already in queue, special circumstances such as, a particular review needs to be done within 7 days, or whatever. If a general projected timeframe cannot reached, we will inform you ahead of time, or as soon as humanly possible. We do however understand that a product review needs to get out ASAP. We applaud that. We want to be on the cutting edge too. Our goal is within 21 days. But you can understand how that can go sometimes. Maybe you can't, but please, as you maybe you are in the same situation, WE DO HAVE LIVES OTHER THAN THE INTERNET!

Ratings:

    Ratings are based on a percent system The highest being of course, 100%. The Lowest being 0%. Is there rocket science to the percent rating? No, It goes by many factors. Examples: Usefulness, Performance, Price, Errors, Bugs, Manufacturing, etc. While some may be reflected in the review body, or in the Pros and Cons section of a review, some may not stated. Who wants to do a 12 page review on a Power Supply? I don't. Would you?

What We Want:

    We are always looking for sponsors who can donate products for review, and/or work out a an advertising scheme to help out all of us. Don't get me wrong on this, a review, is not advertising, it is a review. Although there generally isn't much ad space here at ExtensionTech.net, we will try and work with you the best we can to promote your product, albeit good or... Well, speaking frankly, your product should be good to begin with. Otherwise, you really don't want us to help you promote a bad product now do you?

Effective March 1st, 2003       Only paid advertising will be accepted. Paid advertising will  be accepted via PayPal, or Company Check. Company Check is preferred, as long as it would be sent out within a week of an agreement. if you decide to pay by PayPal, please read below.   PayPal:       Please add 3% when paying by PayPal for advertising. For instance; If you sent $10.00 USD, add 3%, which you would then send $10.30, or if you sent $100.00, you would send $103.00.   Availability:   Main Sponsor: Which includes the top 468x60 advertising on every page with the exception of Sales and Service, Forums, and Archives. This also includes the top 125x125 banner in the sponsors section. Status: Taken (Up to 4 additional) 125x125 Sponsors: Will be seen on the main page, and on review and article pages starting March 1st, 2003. First come will get the higher placement. Status: Taken Discuss your needs by the email address below. About Advertising:       We have no control over people visiting your site, nor buying anything from your company. Please keep that in mind. We are promoting your brand name. It is not our responsibility to provide you with sales for your small investment. We only display your advertisement. We have no control over the free will of humans. Also, those that pay for advertising are encouraged to send products for review also. That can only help strengthen the readers and our view on your company. You are still bound by the Review Policy above. You are still going to get an honest review regardless. The outcome of the review has no bearing on the status of advertising.         Other types of advertising may be available. There can be exceptions to the above advertising policy. ExtensionTech.net  respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website. We do collect statistics from everyone that visits the webpage. However, no personally identifiable information is gained. Information that you disclose in comments, or the forum are available to everyone else that visits. We will not sell, or give out any identifiable statistics about anyone who visits the website or any part of it. This includes e-mails as well. We will generally ask for your permission to reproduce any content that you may submit to us, other than email sent to the news account. In otherwords, unless you have a do not reproduce note in your email, we will quote you if necessary to defend ourselves, or make a point in any review, or discrepancy that arises. In most instances, unless it IS applicable to the point, we will respect your privacy, and NOT disclose anything identifiable to you.
